Doesn’t matter what kind of wedding style you will have from a chic simple to high-end glamorous wedding style you still have to be smart and do the math in maintaining your wedding budget.

Guest list.
I know that you might want to invite everybody that you know. However you have to think how closed you are with them unless that you really have to invite them. There is a big difference between friend and acquaintance (just somebody you know at work and barely really chit chat with them). Make a priority guest list and regular guest list (list of guests that you can rethink again)
To save embarrassment give your parents early in advance for guidelines and the number of people that they can invite before they start to pick up their phone inviting friends and relatives.
It’s ok to do wedding guest list one year in advance for your consideration to see how your relation with this person is, ask yourself “how often you see this person and really talk to them?”
Consider to have only 100 pax guests from friends and family rather than 150 pax guests
I think you don’t want to spend $150 per pax for foods and drinks, decoration and so on for a person you don’t really close with. Do the math reducing 50 guest you will save $ 7500!!
wedding is your personal event after all not a Social event.
Consider Having a Small Wedding
Perhaps the easiest way to keep your numbers of people invite and budget on track is by keeping your wedding day to family and close friends only. Then after your back from your Honeymoon throw a new weds cocktail party where you can invite everyone you know for them to congratulate your wedding.
Wedding Style
You have to consider that the Less formal the event, the more affordable it will be. So if you run with a tight budget maybe you can consider for having a casual weekend brunch or simple casual BBQ dinner rather than a formal sitting dinner with all full formal dining table setups and decoration setting on top of it.

Wedding Invitation
Tricky, since every couple want to give the best impression of their wedding from the start however good quality paper, laser engraving, multiple pages, fancy invitation box and accessories will be expensive. Stay away from oversize or over weight invitation if you want to cut the budget.
Remember that your guests only need to take a look for the information they might need to go to your wedding. It’s simply just Date, Time, Venue and RSVP after that they might just keep it inside their drawer or throw them away. There is so many creative ways by doing DIY invitation or keep your invitation simple by choosing a fabulous element.
Dress & Formal wear
Consider for rental wedding gown from bridal house and you can choose from their new collection gowns. If you love couture then negotiate with your bridal to swept the fabrics material for example using a poly satin silk material instead of silk satin it will save you lots of money.
And for the groom wear basic black tuxes or suits that they can rent, encourage the groomsman to rent it at the same place so you can get better deal. However if your wedding is semi-formal wear a nice suit that you already own.
Avoid to have a wedding on High & Peak Seasons
Learn about the time line schedule in Bali there are certain times where all the prices are increase for Hotel, Venue, Flight fare, entrance ticket to recreation spots.
High season usually during a school break June-August some area up to early September (School and summer break – High Season), 20 December – 10 January (season holiday for Christmas and New Year-Peak Season), Chinese New Year, Lebaran (Muslim Holiday – High Season).
Wedding Food
Keep your menu simple. Stick with the specialties of the season and region. Buy your own alcohol. Have the caterers bring out the fancy Dom Perignon for the toast, but then switch to a less expensive champagne for the rest of the night—no one will ever see the bottle, or know the difference – The Knot
Choose Sparkling wine instead of Champagne (well, they have the same taste though!)
Buy good wine in cask instead of bottles for party and keep it in the Bar for the bartender to serve them.
Wedding Flowers & Decorations
Consult with your wedding stylist and their flower designer about the decoration style and design from your specific decoration budget. They will help you to figure out some fabulous styles and ideas.
Use more greenery than flowers and make sure the greenery is local grow not imported.
Stay on simple yet elegant design
Swap out costly flowers – did you know if the cost of peonies can be five times more expensive than roses?
Stick to just two or three kinds of main flowers
Choose flowers that is in seasons and Locally growth
Include non-floral pieces like sea shell, accessories, fruits & vegetables.
Consider to using existing furniture that you can use and get it for free. did you know for tables and banquets chairs with cover you get free from catering or hotels?
Light designs did you know that fairy lights is more expensive than naked bulbs?
Always consult with the flower designer and event stylist for it. do not hesitated to ask for their helps to maintain your decoration budget on track. However you should be reasonable as well between the budget and the style and designs that you ask.
Wedding Photo and Video
Have a photographer you love but can't afford the prices? Ask them if they have an associate shooter who will do your wedding for less.
Hire your video & photographer for the ceremony plus a limited
amount of hours at the reception. For photos keep the prints simple.
